Four time NASCAR Champion, Jeff Gordon’s, Chevy Dealership in Wilmington, NC just learned that it was named GM Dealer of the Year – one of 12 Chevy dealerships in the southeast U.S. region. To qualify for this award, a dealership must excel in customer satisfaction, essential brand elements, and parts loyalty across all departments.
An employee luncheon with brief update from the General Manager is a monthly event at Jeff Gordon Chevy, but it was decided that this time we should kick it up a notch to celebrate. With some help from Party Suppliers of Wilmington, Julia’s Florist, Middle of the Island (MOI) Catering Co., and Cupcakes by Karen, the employees at Jeff Gordon Chevy were definitely treated to probably the fanciest luncheons in the history of the dealership. Of course, none of it would be possible without our Events Coordinator, Leacy Sauer along with some additional help from Kim Dale and Karen Benton.

Wilmington, North Carolina May 8, 2015 – Jeff Gordon Chevrolet announced today that General Motors named the dealership to the exclusive Chevrolet Dealer of the Year list.
The program honors 50 Chevrolet dealers from across the country, 10 per region, based on exceptional performance in sales, service and customer satisfaction. Jeff Gordon Chevrolet has been the recipient of this award numerous times and also won the GM Certified Pre-Owned Sales Leader Award 10 consecutive years.

In addition to the honorable Dealer of the Year award, Jeff Gordon Chevrolet also won the Elite Department Award from Hendrick for New Vehicle Sales, Service, Parts, and Collision departments. Pre-owned sales associate, Chris Whitehurst, and Collision Center assistant manager, Kevin Kutz, were both presented the Chairman’s Club awards as well.
And lastly, Stacee Marcum and Dan Jacobs, both service advisers were nominated and awarded for our in-house Going the Extra Mile Award. The award is presented to recognize dealership employees who go above and beyond their job description to make this a better place for both fellow employees and customers. Recently, a customer of ours found herself suffering from a medical emergency while dropping her car in the service lane. It was very close to closing time for our service department and the customer was forced to wait for her husband who was an hour away. Dan and Stacee stayed by her side until he was able to reach the dealership. Absolutely deserving of that award, they each got a $50 Gift Card to the Circa Restaurant Group – YUM!
